Nicolás González Lined Up as Kudus Replacement

Nicolás González Lined Up as Kudus Replacement if West Ham Sanction Exit

West Ham United are eyeing Juventus winger Nicolás González as a potential replacement for Mohammed Kudus, according to a report from Claret & Hugh.

The update arrives amid increasing speculation over Kudus’ future, with growing Premier League interest and signs that a summer departure could be on the cards.

Kudus Changes Agent Amid Transfer Talks

The report claims that Kudus has recently changed agents in an effort to push through a move. Claret & Hugh state the Ghanaian has already held early discussions with both Arsenal and Chelsea.

While nothing is agreed, the switch in representation suggests Kudus is actively preparing for a transfer this summer.

González Identified as Key Target

Should Kudus leave, West Ham have reportedly pinpointed Nicolás González as their main option to fill the gap. Argentine journalist Sébastien Vidal added fuel to the speculation by posting on social media that González is “lined up and ready to move”.

The Juventus winger has been linked with the Irons before. Claret & Hugh note that González was flagged earlier this week as one of several names on West Ham’s wider summer scouting list.

Interestingly, González’s name has also been mentioned in connection with Nayef Aguerd. Juventus have shown interest in the Moroccan defender, and it’s not ruled out that a swap or related deal could be explored.

A Few Key Deals Could Define the Window

Rather than pursuing a full squad overhaul, West Ham appear to be working on a smaller cluster of high-impact moves. With Kudus, Aguerd and now González all part of the current rumour mill, the club’s summer strategy is starting to take shape.

For now, it’s all dependent on who leaves first — and how quickly the Hammers can respond.
